Project Description
DTE was required to take down 3-30” natural gas lines that served the surrounding communities. Reagan Mechnical coordinated and delivered piping to four new gas heaters and associated pipeline shut-off valves. WGS is DTE’s largest Gate Station servicing Southeastern Michigan.

Project Challenges
Pipe fabrication was scheduled with the installing contractor who worked 24/7 to make critical tie-ins. The provided measurements from the field changed several times as a result of unanticipated field conditions, which required last minute design changes that were only successful because of clear and constant coordinating with the field contractor.
